AbstractThis paper proposes a scheme for secure telecommunication based on synchronizing a chaotic Liu system with a nontrivial Lyapunov candidate, which allows for the control signal to act only on one state of the slave system. The proposal has the advantages of being robust against disturbances (internal and external) and simple, which is essential because it leads to significant cost reductions when implemented using analog electronics. A simulation study, which considers the presence of disturbances, is used to validate the theoretical results and show the easy implementation of the proposed approach.
