Abstract | Large volumes of private data are gathered, processed, and stored on computers by governments, the military, organizations, financial institutions, colleges, and other enterprises. This data is then sent through networks to other computers. Urgent measures are required to safeguard sensitive personal and company data as well as national security due to the exponential development in number and complexity of cyber- attacks. The essay discusses the characteristics of the Internet and demonstrates how private and financial data can be transmitted over it while still being safeguarded. We show that robbery has spread throughout India and the rest of the world, endangering the global economy and security and giving rise to a variety of cyber-attacks. |
