AbstractMajority of the daily and business activities nowadays are integrated and interconnected to the world across national, geographic and boundaries. Securing the Internet of Things (IoT) system is a challenge as these low powered devices in IoT system are very vulnerable to cyber-attacks and this will reduce the reliability of the system. Software Defined Network (SDN) intends to greatly facilitate the policy enforcement and dynamic network reconfiguration. This paper presents several architectures in the integration of IoT via SDN to improve security in the network and system.
