Dwiko Satriyo, U. Y. S, Rahutomo, Faisal, Harjito, Bambang, Prasetyo, Heri.  2022.  DNA Cryptography Based on NTRU Cryptosystem to Improve Security. 2022 IEEE 8th Information Technology International Seminar (ITIS). :27—31.
Information exchange occurs all the time in today’s internet era. Some of the data are public, and some are private. Asymmetric cryptography plays a critical role in securing private data transfer. However, technological advances caused private data at risk due to the presence of quantum computers. Therefore, we need a new method for securing private data. This paper proposes combining DNA cryptography methods based on the NTRU cryptosystem to enhance security data confidentiality. This method is compared with conventional public key cryptography methods. The comparison shows that the proposed method has a slow encryption and decryption time compared to other methods except for RSA. However, the key generation time of the proposed method is much faster than other methods tested except for ECC. The proposed method is superior in key generation time and considerably different from other tested methods. Meanwhile, the encryption and decryption time is slower than other methods besides RSA. The test results can get different results based on the programming language used.

The rapid development of technology, makes it easier for everyone to exchange information and knowledge. Exchange information via the internet is threatened with security. Security issues, especially the issue of the confidentiality of information content and its authenticity, are vital things that must protect. Peculiarly for agencies that often hold activities that provide certificates in digital form to participants. Digital certificates are digital files conventionally used as proof of participation or a sign of appreciation owned by someone. We need a security technology for certificates as a source of information known as cryptography. This study aims to validate and authenticate digital certificates with digital signatures using SHA-256, DSA, and 3DES. The use of the SHA-256 hash function is in line with the DSA method and the implementation of 3DES which uses 2 private keys so that the security of digital certificate files can be increased. The pixel changes that appear in the MSE calculation have the lowest value of 7.4510 and the highest value of 165.0561 when the file is manipulated, it answers the security of the proposed method is maintained because the only valid file is the original file.

Sarasjati, Wendy, Rustad, Supriadi, Purwanto, Santoso, Heru Agus, Muljono, Syukur, Abdul, Rafrastara, Fauzi Adi, Ignatius Moses Setiadi, De Rosal.  2022.  Comparative Study of Classification Algorithms for Website Phishing Detection on Multiple Datasets. 2022 International Seminar on Application for Technology of Information and Communication (iSemantic). :448–452.
Phishing has become a prominent method of data theft among hackers, and it continues to develop. In recent years, many strategies have been developed to identify phishing website attempts using machine learning particularly. However, the algorithms and classification criteria that have been used are highly different from the real issues and need to be compared. This paper provides a detailed comparison and evaluation of the performance of several machine learning algorithms across multiple datasets. Two phishing website datasets were used for the experiments: the Phishing Websites Dataset from UCI (2016) and the Phishing Websites Dataset from Mendeley (2018). Because these datasets include different types of class labels, the comparison algorithms can be applied in a variety of situations. The tests showed that Random Forest was better than other classification methods, with an accuracy of 88.92% for the UCI dataset and 97.50% for the Mendeley dataset.

Mobile embedded terminals widely applied in individual lives, but its security threats become more and more serious. Malicious attacker can steal sensitive information such as user’s phonebook, credit card information by instrumenting malicious programs, or compromising vulnerable software. Against these problems, this paper proposes a scheme for trusted protection system on the embedded platform. The system uses SM algorithms and hardware security chip as the root of trust to establish security mechanisms, including trusted boot of system image, trusted monitoring of the system running environment, disk partition encryption and verification, etc. These security mechanisms provide comprehensive protection to embedded system boot, runtime and long-term storage devices. This paper introduces the architecture and principles of the system software, design system security functions and implement prototype system for protection of embedded OS. The experiments results indicates the promotion of embedded system security and the performance test shows that encryption performance can meet the practical application.

With the construction of power information network, the power grid has built a security protection system based on boundary protection. However, with the continuous advancement of the construction of the power Internet of Things, a large number of power Internet of Things terminals need to connect to the power information network through the public network, which have an impact on the existing security protection system of the power grid. This article analyzes the characteristics of the border protection model commonly used in network security protection. Aiming at the lack of security protection capabilities of this model, a zero-trust security architecture-based power Internet of Things network security protection model is proposed. Finally, this article analyzes and studies the application of zero trust in the power Internet of Things.

Zulfa, Mulki Indana, Hartanto, Rudy, Permanasari, Adhistya Erna, Ali, Waleed.  2021.  Web Caching Strategy Optimization Based on Ant Colony Optimization and Genetic Algorithm. 2021 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA). :75—81.
Web caching is a strategy that can be used to speed up website access on the client-side. This strategy is implemented by storing as many popular web objects as possible on the cache server. All web objects stored on a cache server are called cached data. Requests for cached web data on the cache server are much faster than requests directly to the origin server. Not all web objects can fit on the cache server due to their limited capacity. Therefore, optimizing cached data in a web caching strategy will determine which web objects can enter the cache server to have maximum profit. This paper simulates a web caching strategy optimization with a knapsack problem approach using the Ant Colony optimization (ACO), Genetic Algorithm (GA), and a combination of the two. Knapsack profit is seen from the number of web objects that can be entered into the cache server but with the minimum objective function value. The simulation results show that the combination of ACO and GA is faster to produce an optimal solution and is not easily trapped by the local optimum.

Mutiarachim, A., Pranata, S. Felix, Ansor, B., Shidik, G. Faiar, Fanani, A. Zainul, Soeleman, A., Pramunendar, R. Anggi.  2018.  Bit Localization in Least Significant Bit Using Fuzzy C-Means. 2018 International Seminar on Application for Technology of Information and Communication. :290-294.

Least Significant Bit (LSB) as one of steganography methods that already exist today is really mainstream because easy to use, but has weakness that is too easy to decode the hidden message. It is because in LSB the message embedded evenly to all pixels of an image. This paper introduce a method of steganography that combine LSB with clustering method that is Fuzzy C-Means (FCM). It is abbreviated with LSB\_FCM, then compare the stegano result with LSB method. Each image will divided into two cluster, then the biggest cluster capacity will be choosen, finally save the cluster coordinate key as place for embedded message. The key as a reference when decode the message. Each image has their own cluster capacity key. LSB\_FCM has disadvantage that is limited place to embedded message, but it also has advantages compare with LSB that is LSB\_FCM have more difficulty level when decrypted the message than LSB method, because in LSB\_FCM the messages embedded randomly in the best cluster pixel of an image, so to decrypted people must have the cluster coordinate key of the image. Evaluation result show that the MSE and PSNR value of LSB\_FCM some similiar with the pure LSB, it means that LSB\_FCM can give imperceptible image as good as the pure LSB, but have better security from the embedding place.
