AbstractIn this paper, we investigated a self-oscillating ring system with variation of the delay time, which demonstrates the phenomenon of laminar chaos. The presence of laminar chaos is demonstrated for various laws of time delay variation - sinusoidal, sawtooth, and triangular. The behavior of coupled systems with laminar chaos and diffusive coupling is investigated. The presence of synchronous behavior is shown.
