In view of the problem that the overall security of the network is difficult to evaluate quantitatively, we propose the edge authority attack graph model, which aims to make up for the traditional dependence attack graph to describe the relationship between vulnerability behaviors. This paper proposed a network security metrics based on probability, and proposes a network vulnerability algorithm based on vulnerability exploit probability and attack target asset value. Finally, a network security reinforcement algorithm with network vulnerability index as the optimization target is proposed based on this metric algorithm.

Nowadays big data has getting more and more attention in both the academic and the industrial research. With the development of big data, people pay more attention to data security. A significant feature of big data is the large size of the data. In order to improve the encryption speed of the large size of data, this paper uses the deep pipeline and full expansion technology to implement the AES encryption algorithm on FPGA. Achieved throughput of 31.30 Gbps with a minimum latency of 0.134 us. This design can quickly encrypt large amounts of data and provide technical support for the development of big data.

Trust prediction in online social networks is crucial for information dissemination, product promotion, and decision making. Existing work on trust prediction mainly utilizes the network structure or the low-rank approximation of a trust network. These approaches can suffer from the problem of data sparsity and prediction accuracy. Inspired by the homophily theory, which shows a pervasive feature of social and economic networks that trust relations tend to be developed among similar people, we propose a novel deep user model for trust prediction based on user similarity measurement. It is a comprehensive data sparsity insensitive model that combines a user review behavior and the item characteristics that this user is interested in. With this user model, we firstly generate a user's latent features mined from user review behavior and the item properties that the user cares. Then we develop a pair-wise deep neural network to further learn and represent these user features. Finally, we measure the trust relations between a pair of people by calculating the user feature vector cosine similarity. Extensive experiments are conducted on two real-world datasets, which demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed approach over the representative baseline works.

Hajomer, A. A. E., Yang, X., Sultan, A., Sun, W., Hu, W..  2018.  Key Generation and Distribution Using Phase Fluctuation in Classical Fiber Channel. 2018 20th International Conference on Transparent Optical Networks (ICTON). :1–3.

We propose a secure key generation and distribution scheme for data encryption in classical optical fiber channel. A Delay interferometer (DI) is used to track the random phase fluctuation inside fiber, while the reconfigurable lengths of polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber are set as the source of optical phase fluctuations. The output signals from DI are extracted as the secret key and shared between the two-legal transmitter and receiver. Because of the randomness of local environment and the uniqueness of fiber channel, the phase fluctuation between orthogonal polarization modes (OPMs) can be used as secure keys to enhance the level of security in physical layer. Experimentally, we realize the random key generation and distribution over 25-km standard single-mode fiber (SSMF). Moreover, the proposed key generation scheme has the advantages of low cost, compatible with current optical fiber networks and long distance transmission with optical amplifiers.

Hardware information flow analysis detects security vulnerabilities resulting from unintended design flaws, timing channels, and hardware Trojans. These information flow models are typically generated in a general way, which includes a significant amount of redundancy that is irrelevant to the specified security properties. In this work, we propose a property specific approach for information flow security. We create information flow models tailored to the properties to be verified by performing a property specific search to identify security critical paths. This helps find suspicious signals that require closer inspection and quickly eliminates portions of the design that are free of security violations. Our property specific trimming technique reduces the complexity of the security model; this accelerates security verification and restricts potential security violations to a smaller region which helps quickly pinpoint hardware security vulnerabilities.
