Software Certification Consortium Meeting #16
"Necessary and Sufficient Safety Assurance Evidence"

The next meeting of the Software Certification Consortium will be held on January 11-12, 2016 at the University of Pennsylvania, hosted by the PRECISE Center.

You are invited to participate in The Second International Conference on Digital Information Processing, Data Mining, and Wireless Communications (DIPDMWC2015) that will be held in Islamic Azad University, Academic City, Dubai, UAE, on December 3-5, 2015, which aims to enable researchers build connections between different digital applications. The event will be held over three days, with presentations delivered by researchers from the international community, including presentations from keynote speakers and state-of-the-art lectures.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has held a public Workshop entitled "Physiological Closed-Loop Controlled (PCLC) Devices." The topic discussed was challenges related to the design, development, and evaluation of critical care PCLC devices. FDA considers PCLC devices an emerging technology and held a workshop focusing on design, development and performance evaluation of PCLC systems intended for use in critical care environments. Such devices included closed-loop anesthetic delivery, closed-loop vasoactive drug and fluid delivery, and closed-loop mechanical ventilation.

First ACM Workshop on Cyber-Physical Systems Security & PrivaCy (CPS-SPC)

With recent advances in low-power low-cost communication, sensing, and actuation technologies, Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) have revolutionized automated medical diagnostics and care, building energy management, and smart grids. With this revolution, dawns a new era of CPS monitoring where fusing measurements from multiple devices provides unprecedented early detection of critical events. However, in some applications (e.g. medical diagnostics) explicit models and/or rich training data relating available measurements to events are unavailable or impractical.
