European Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security 2016
It is now 15 years since the European Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security (ECCWS) was established. It has been held in Finland, Estonia, Greece, Portugal, England, and the Netherlands to mention only a few of the countries that have hosted it. This conference attracts an interesting combination of academic scholars, military personnel, practitioners, and individuals who are engaged in various aspects of the cyber security community. ECCWS is generally attended by participants from more than 30 countries. The Journal of Information Warfare regularly publishes a number of the papers presented at this conference.

3rd Annual Financial Services Cyber Security Summit
The 3rd Annual Financial Services Cyber Security Forum will examine the latest developments in the cyber security issues financial institutions are facing, with particular emphasis on cyber resilience, cyber security culture, supply chain security, and the protection of critical financial infrastructure, as well as risk mitigation strategies. This timely conference will discuss the UK’s latest cyber security initiatives, including launch of the UK’s new National Cyber Security Centre later this year, update on the CBEST programme initiative led by the Bank of England and the highlights of the new UK National Cyber Security Strategy. The programme also includes sessions on the European and US responses to the rising threat of cyber-crime led by the European Commission, the European Banking Federation, and the US Treasury.

Billington Global Automotive Cybersecurity Summit 2016
The centerpiece of this daylong summit will be the keynote addresses by U.S. Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx, the country’s top transportation official, and GM Chairman and CEO Mary Barra, the chief of the country’s largest automaker. The automotive sector is taking some steps to bolster cybersecurity awareness and knowledge. Last year the industry created the Automotive Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Auto-ISAC) to enhance information sharing in the auto sector. In addition, companies are forming “coordinated disclosure programs,” which allow security researchers to share cyber threats with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

Community College Cyber Summit 2016
The third annual Community College Cyber Summit (3CS) is organized and produced by six Advanced Technological Education (ATE) centers funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and involved in cybersecurity. 3CS meets the perceived need for a national academic conference that focuses exclusively on cybersecurity education at the community college level. Faculty, administrators, and other stakeholders in community college cybersecurity education are invited and encouraged to attend.

International Conference on Cyber Security 2016

Cybersec EU Forum

SAINTCON 2016
SAINTCON is a nonprofit conference devoted to security training and awareness, and presented by the Utah SAINT Organization. SAINTCON was founded in 2001, originally designed to provide security training to Utah-based public entities. Today, the conference has grown into a large gathering of security professionals, students, and interested individuals.
